MELBOURNE 5 SEPTEMBER 2019: Today the IPO Network announced two new members to expand the reach and diversity of professional services in our network.

Member Representative Jeffrey Luckins said: “Celebrating 10 years since our foundation, the IPO Network has generated energy and momentum in our thought leadership activities and achieved great success for our clients IPO’s. We are turbo charging that momentum with the introduction of Steinepreis Paganin, the number one law firm in Australia for conducting IPO’s, and Women on Boards, with over 40,000 members in Australia and the UK, the number one Director Talent organization. We are pleased to be expanding our vision and will be holding events in both Melbourne and Sydney on a regular basis following the success of our “Do Start-up’s list too early” events held in June & July this year.”

Given the remarkable diversity of professional services firms in the IPO Network, it is ironic that our newest member is indeed the flag bearer for diversity in the Australian capital markets space. Women on Boards has been working to address gender inequity in the boardroom and across leadership roles.  At the IPO Network we are delighted to assist Women on Boards to achieve their purpose of achieving 40 per cent women on boards, committees and in leadership roles by 2025.

Executive Chair of Women on Boards Ruth Medd said: “Using its deep networks in the Director community, WOB is committed to supporting companies pre and post IPO with access to experienced female Directors which seem to be in such short supply in public markets.”

Steinepreis Paganin is an independent firm of lawyers and consultants with a core focus on small to midcap ASX listed companies and a remarkable history of achievement over more than 20 years. With their expanding practice and services into the east coast of Australia they bring the success of their Perth based west coast practice with them.

Mark Foster, the Managing Partner of Steinepreis Paganin commented: “Our firm is consistently ranked 1st Australia-wide in providing legal advice on new listings and with over 240 IPO’s completed which have resulted in over $4.2b being raised, and accounting for between 20% to 30% of all IPO’s in Australia each year over the past 10 years, we are ideally placed to facilitate the IPO process for our clients and look forward to being an active member of the IPO Network.

With nine diverse high-quality members, the IPO Network is ideally placed to assist businesses to prepare and execute their exit strategy and to support listed companies beyond their IPO.”
