Perth Event Examines the Capital Markets Outlook for 2023

Friday, 11 November 2022, Perth: the IPO Network held its second Perth event with clients and friends yesterday at The George to discuss the year that’s been in the capital markets and the outlook for 2023.

Continued pressure on share market values arising from rapidly climbing interest rates and inflation, energy supply concerns and geopolitical tensions in the world, has resulted in a decline in the rate of IPOs in this new financial year, currently at 73 year to date, down from 191 in 2021.

Our expert panel which discussed the past year and outlook for 2023 was deftly facilitated by William Buck Director Conley Manifis and included Steinepreis Paganin Lawyers and Consultants Partner Pia Drummond, PAC Partners Corporate Finance Analyst William Cross, Honan Insurance Group Head of Client Engagement Brad Tymmons and William Buck Corporate Advisory Director Chris Brown.

In 2023, the IPO Network looks forward to continuing to deliver more challenging and cutting-edge content in our thought leadership events and an expansive range of client support services across our member firms. Our next events will be held in Sydney and Melbourne in the next two weeks.
